Description

−

Primabolan-LA® is a tablet that contains methenolone acetate, made by LA Pharma. Methenolone is sold under the brand names Primobolan and Nibal, and Schering developed it in the early 1960s. In medicine, it’s been used mainly to treat anemia caused by bone marrow failure. It has largely been discontinued, so the original products are mostly gone. It’s a DHT derivative that gives moderate anabolic effects, very weak androgenic effects and no estrogenic effects. In strength-training literature, it’s known for slow, quality gains. Retailers are open about its limits. The tablet form is described as weaker than injectable methenolone, and it’s mostly discussed for conditioning and muscle preservation, not for size.

Composition

+

Primabolan-LA® is methenolone acetate, a DHT-based steroid with a methyl group at the first carbon. Unlike most oral steroids, it has no 17-alpha alkyl group, so it avoids the liver stress that comes with that change. The acetate ester suits oral use. It doesn’t convert into estrogen. Each tablet contains 25 mg.

Outcome

+
  • Known for moderate, slow gains in lean, dense muscle that tend to hold up afterward.
  • Doesn’t aromatize, so estrogen-related effects and water retention are generally not the concern.
  • Described as having a very low androgenic component, which is why it’s called mild.
  • Linked with muscle preservation and better definition during calorie-restricted phases.
  • Often described as limited in building size and strength on its own.
  • In medicine, used for anemia caused by bone marrow failure.
  • These are commonly discussed associations in clinical and community literature, not approved performance claims.

Side Effects

+
  • Natural testosterone production drops with non-medical use.
  • Mild androgenic effects such as acne, oily skin, more body hair and, in some people, hair loss.
  • Cholesterol changes, generally described as milder than with many other steroids.
  • Stomach discomfort with the oral form.
  • In women, virilizing effects such as voice deepening, body hair growth and menstrual changes. These can appear at low intake and may be permanent.
  • This is not a complete list and should not be treated as medical guidance.

Important Safety Information

+
  • Contraindications: Do not use it if you have prostate cancer, male breast cancer, severe heart, liver, or kidney disease, or a known allergy to the ingredients. It should not be used during pregnancy or by anyone under 18.
  • Common Side Effects: Acne, headache, mood changes, changes in libido, and digestive upset.
  • Serious Risks: Cardiovascular strain, cholesterol changes, reduced fertility, prolonged suppression of natural hormone production, and irreversible virilization in women.
  • Drug Testing: Methenolone is banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency and can be detected in tests.
  • Product Quality: Primobolan is a heavily imitated brand name, and a tablet sold under it may not contain what the label says.

FAQ

What is Primabolan-LA®?

It is an oral methenolone acetate tablet from LA Pharma, Thailand, with 25 mg per tablet in a pack of 30.

What is the difference between oral and injectable Primabolan?

The oral tablet uses methenolone acetate and is short-acting. The injectable form uses methenolone enanthate and is long-acting.

Is methenolone hard on the liver?

The oral tablet is not 17-alpha-alkylated, so it’s generally described as much easier on the liver than other oral steroids. Anyone with liver disease should still avoid it.

How does Primabolan-LA® compare to Primobolan Hubei?

Both contain oral methenolone acetate at 25 mg per tablet and share the same pharmacology. The differences are the manufacturer and the pack size.

Is Primabolan-LA® FDA approved?

Methenolone has been approved for medical use in some countries, but the original products are now mostly discontinued. This specific product is not an approved medicine. In the United States, methenolone is a Schedule III controlled substance.

Is it legal without a prescription?

No. Non-prescribed use is regulated or prohibited in most countries.
